Well.. I appreciate both. Was on Skanks for over a month, on AOKP now and loving it. But they are both very solid ROMs

I would never hate on the unicorn. I just want a good reason to wipe everything clean and install a new ROM. So far, I haven't heard a good enough argument that will make me flip again at the moment. I don't look forward to installing from scratch and setting up all of my apps. I realize that it doesn't take THAT long. But, when you haven't fully wiped it a few weeks, you get kind of used to the DF and don't look forward to the setting up process.
AOKP is what I ran back on the ICS days. I just need to hear that this ROM has something awesome that Euroskank doesn't and I'm there.

Ha ha. Almost forgot. Very compelling fact indeed. I will give it some time in the next couple of nights to nandroid my skank and load this beast up and draw my own conclusions. Until then...

I thought I would update this thread with new experiences since I have flashed AOKP 3.

First, whatever performance improvements have been made between v1 and v3 are noticeable on my device, I'm talking night and day. I have had zero noticeable redraws on this version and no force closes. It definitely seems much improved. Very buttery.

Now, I have experienced what I later found out is being referred to as the 'sleep of death'- I had to pull the battery three separate times this morning. After switching to Franco's latest nightly, I've not had the SOD once. As much as I liked the Skank, I would say that I'm back on AOKP for a while.
