Time Sync Error

Lately I keep getting a time sync error. I go to google app to post a question but it doesn't access the net it tells me I have a time sync error and has a settings option. I pick settings. It takes me to time. It is set on auto. I unclick auto then click again and it is ok.... for a while but it keeps happening over and over.

This didn't begin until yesterday but I updated to Android 10 a while ago so I don't know if there is a connection.

Anyone else have this issue?
Is there a permanent solution?

Are you using a VPN? If so, try turning it off.

Yeah , even simple reboot fixes things .

Does this only happen on wi-fi, or also on mobile data?

It doesn't happen any longer but it did happen on both LTE and WIFI. I toggled between manually setting time and using the net. It finally stopped happening.

I still get it now and then. No rhyme or reason. Sometimes wifi sometimes LTE. I toggle the switch off and on then it returns to normal. Weird.

No, not near a time zone barrier but I still get the error once in a while. Maybe once in a month or two. It is easy to fix so I've given up trying for any kind of permanent fix. Any fix I try will APPEAR to work for a couple of months!
