Time Warner Cable App & Proxy Server

Hello all,

So as you all may know, Time Warner Cable has the TWC TV app for Android. However, most channels are blacked out unless you are Time Warner cable subscriber and you are connected via Wi-Fi to your home network.

I need to watch my Dodgers and would love to be able to watch while I'm away on my phone. If I run my own proxy server at home and connect to it using my phone (hopefully there is a way to use proxy servers on Android), would the TWC TV app think I'm home, and let me watch all the channels on the app while I'm away?

I was under the impression Google Search would allow you to watch live games. I can be wrong though. Most of the time I am working during most games.
