Tips for navigating HTC

I've been debating like a lot of people over the S4 and the One. After today, I'd say I'm going with the One. Is there a tutorial to help with customizing the phone? Are there ways to make shortcuts to get to the settings etc.? This phone will be a definite upgrade from my S2!

Sure, you can create shortcuts.

As far as a guide to customizing, I don't know of any because there are so many options. You could start following the homescreen page and asking questions when you see something you like, or questions if you want to do something and don't know how.
