Finally got my titanium backup key. Figured I'd spend the weekend trying different 2.2 roms. Right now I'm currently using JRummy's NexTheme. It boots up fine. When I run titanium backup and try to restore missing apps+system data it tries to restore the first app and then the phone reboots. Its done this 5 times already. I don't know if its the app causing this or the Rom. Am I doing something wrong?

OK, well that seems strange. At the end of the day, I know it's something to do with the rom or 2.2 itself.

ya i had this problem yesterday with Chevy's rom. i think it might have to do with certain roms and the way they are built with Froyo. Chevy's is the only one that gave me trouble and i was pissed because i lowered my over clocking, didn't work, cleared cache, didn't work, changed kernels, didn't work. then i said screw it and went back to my back up haha. hopefully he fixes the app so that this issue is fixed soon

so far, yes. Chevy's was the only one that i have tried that kept rebooting when i attempted to restore my apps. i have a list of roms that i have tried: BB, Kangerade, Onyx, Fly Rom, stock Froyo to name a few. it seems like it has to do with the way the rom interacts with the app. there might be other roms that have this issue but i have never experienced it with anything else
