TMo security patches?

My phone has an 2016-09-01 security patch. Have they updated this in the past six months? The phone is in their list of receiving the 7.0 update. I think the G4 update is at least through January, which is basically the same hardware. What's not happening here?

Ditto here on t-mobile branded v10. Seems to be a long delay in getting the security patches. Wondering what that will mean to the 7.x update supposedly headed our way.
