Anyone on TMobile having data issues? When I'm connected to 5G UC I get no data. Have to switch to LTE. It was fine the 1st couple of days but will not connect now if it shows 5G UC.

Not seeing any issues on mine connected to 5G, any possible outages in your area causing this?

Thats T-Mobile’s mid-band network or its high-band mmWaw network. I only seen on my iphone with TMobile

Not where I am at North West of Phila. I drove for a couple hours yesterday steaming music and running gps...Not a flicker of outage. This area is T-Mo rich

I'm on att and the only way to switch to LTE on Pixel is to turn on battery saver. I did that last night and now my P6 and P5a are alot faster, and the battery life on the P6 got LOTS better. Totally diggin' this new Pixel.

Uninstall of latest Google carrier services from the playstore worked for me. Getting data again when connected to 5G UC.

Hmm, interesting. I'd send feedback to Google about this, and wait for the next update to Carrier Services. When it comes, try updating again and see if it works.

Yes, I've posted on Google communities. They suggested uninstall of the service. Will wait for next update.

Well that was short lived. Took the dogs for a walk this morning. Back to no data when on 5G UC. Getting the exclamation in the notification area again.

FWIW, I've had no issues with P6 T-Mobile 5G UC (Ultra Capacity). It gets speeds in the 300-500 Mbps range.

The regular 5G is slower than 4G LTE.

For the first few days my connection at home rotated through the various options, but eventually it stabilized on the 5G UC connection.

Carrier Services didn't auto-update back to the version that was wonky for you, right?

Also, you've already contacted your carrier to see if there are any issues in your area?

Carrier service still the same. Going to swing by local T-Mobile store this afternoon to see if they have any insight on local towers. Might try new sim card also.

Yeah ,new SIM card may do it. I recently activated a new phone. ( Have not gotten the Pixel 6 yet ) . But mine was a different issue. Still Tmobile asked me what SIM card did I have an may need a different SIM card for a 5G phone. So they probably will swap it out while you are there anyway.

Spent 4 hours last night with T-Mobile advanced technical support. They are working on 2 of the towers near my house. Also advised I had an old sim card. Tried to activate Esim with them multiple times and had issues saying device needs to be unlocked. T-Mobile device unlock app wouldn't work because device was new and not paid off. Woke up this morning and T-Mobile unlocked my device, so called in and got Esim activated. Phone is holding connection much better now and tower upgrades should be done by the 19th. Was able to hit 640 speed on 5G UC today.

My wife was having similar issues. I could tell it was a symptom of needing a new sim. Her sim was about 5 years old and this is her first 5G phone. Went to a store and they wanted to try a bunch of stuff...begged them not to make me wait anymore, just give me a hard sim, they did, issues fixed.
