Tmobile google nexus 4 mms/group texts?

Hi I'm in DESPERATE need of help, I haven't been able to solve my problem for the past month.
I have the unlimited 2gb t mobile data plan and I'm using my new Google Nexus 4.
I am able to send pictures, except I RARELY receive PICTURE messages or GROUP messages.
It's very inconsistent.
And my coach sends out important group messages daily, and I never receive them!
I've received 1 out of 8 group texts sent, and 3 out of maybe 15 picture messages sent?
Please help me solve my problem.

My current APN setting difference from the default is:
APN type: default,supl,mms,admin,dun
APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
Apn roaming protocol:IPv4/IPv6

(I've also tried other APN settings, I don't think that's the problem)

I also get the notification that I have group/picture messages, but once I click on them THEY DISAPPEAR. PLEASE, THIS IS BOTHERING ME SO MUCH AND IT'S VERY ANNOYING. And I'd love if it was possible to fix this problem without using an app.

Are the other users using iPhones? iMessage and Android don't always play well together when dealing with MMS I've discovered, so that may be part of the problem. You could also try resetting your APN back to default. I had all sorts of weird little data problems crop up after I tried tweaking my APN settings, but going back to default fixed everything. To do so: Settings -> More... -> Mobile networks -> Access Point Names -> Menu (dots) -> Reset to default. After it's done, make sure the T-Mobile APN is selected and give it a go.

Are you using the stock messaging app, or something else?

Also, people will be able to better help with your APN if you include more information.

I had the same problem yesterday, group text with pictures sent from an iphone, only the 4th out of 4 pictures was viewable. not a huge deal but still bothersome. I'm on the same plan as well.

I'm on the $30 5gb plan on TMobile and I'm having the same exact problem as well. I'm using the default APN settings as well and I'm having trouble sending picture messages and sending and receiving MMS group texts...

If someone has a fix for this, it'd be greatly appreciated. Anyone tried talking to T-Mobile customer service yet?

I've solved my problem!
I don't know if it'll apply to you guys, but I read somewhere that the battery life saver app blocks APN sometimes, so I deleted that app. Since then, I've been receiving pics and group messages. However my coach has yet to send one (my coach's group messages are the inconsistent ones), so when I do or do not receive it, I'll let you guys know
And if that doesn't solve your problem, I'm sorry, but thanks to everyone who helped too!
