Tmobile Note 3 -Hard Reset-Google play auto sync apps back onto phone?

Hi, in the past. after the hard reset, the google play apps auto sync back to my note 3. I just did a reset again yesterday, and that did not happen... By any chance do you know the setting for it? I hate to go back in and download manually
