Does anyone else get their display dimmed when using gps, browsing the internet or any other program? My display dims when browsing the internet for about 15 minuntes. I have my brightness set to about 60-70%. Also the back of the phone gets pretty hot. If the charger is plugged in it happens even faster and the phone gets way hotter. Is this normal or should I send it back? Bought from amazon. Oh yeah and Im also not running anything in background.

my broswer has a separate brightness toggle but it is dimmer than my regular screen, and yea it heats up when im playing games for a while such especially the N64 roms

Trust me. The phone heats up no where as close as the processor on the Atrix did. Im blessed to feel the less heat of this phone these days compared to that Moto. I love the Atrix, but the heat was wayyyyy to much. Really really HOT, not warm.

this is true it gets about as warm as an iphone 4 with extended gaming.

Yes, return the phone. I had two and the same problem. The phone will be the best phone on the market once this is resolved, WITHOUT SAMSUNG DIMMING THE SCREEN WHERE YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO SEE IT OUTSIDE - WHICH WAS MY PROBLEM WITH THE AUTO DIMMING.

The autodim is just enough dimmer than where I want it that I generally keep it off.

I've gotten this message when I had it mounted on my dashboard on a hot day as well, running google nav...
