Hey, I met this guy who is selling his xperia Z1 and the phone looks really nice and is fairly cheap (purple, I'd insert some pictures) but this would be my first Android phone and I'd like to know how to identify if the phone has been stolen. Also, I did read on facebook that a guy purchased an used z1 and after a day the original owner reported it as stolen so the new owner was unable to use it. Is that true?, should I fear such a thing to happen with the particular Z1 I want to buy?
As android users, what recommendations could you give me before buying this phone?
The price is about $350 dollars and while in the US that might not look like a great deal, here in Mexico the Z1 is being sold new as high as $550 usd.
