To buy or not to buy...that is the question

I'm in a similar situation, and I'm waiting for the nexus and moto x before pulling the trigger. the S6 is a great looking phone, but I prefer closer to stock and am concerned with how inconsistent the s6 seems to be.

some users report amazing battery life, other not so much. I shouldn't have to disable/tweak so many things just to get my phone functioning properly. I'm also concerned about that sealed battery down the road, and even though it's toned down a ton, I'm not a big TW fan (one of my phones is an S4).

the new blue S6 would be my choice, aesthetically it's pretty much perfect, but that's not a big factor for me. and obviously it's not just a good looking phone, if you factor in everything, it's arguably the best phone ever made. that'll depend on what's important to you though. I'm sure you know all about the camera, and if you haven't seen any test shots, definitely Google it and check em out.

if the nexus and moto x disappoint, I'll either revisit the G4 and S6, or just wait til 2016. like u, I'm not in a big rush. my phone work good enough and I don't mind having the extra cash in my pocket!

Pull the trigger. It's now or never. You can always return it.

Stock android is plain and boring. Will take tw over stock anyday

Touchwizz is slower and uglier than Sense from two years ago, I would definitely take stock over tw anyday.

While touch wiz icons aren't as nice as Google stock icons, I prefer the way TW does things over stock, especially all the additional features not found on stock platform. But hey that's my opinion.

If it were me, I'd wait - you don't seem fully sold on the S6. If that changes, buy it! Especially if you can get one of those awesome emerald ones or the iron man edition.

Emerald looks awesome, really wish i could swap it with my black model.

Was going to order a Edge 64GB Green, but after following it for weeks and reading all kind of problems it having. Decided to go for S6 Flat 64GB Blue instead. Now waiting for it to arrive (around 1-3 days) and hopes for a perfect unit without any problems. :)

Congrats. Passed in the Edge as I couldn't justify the vslue of the additional functionality and it didn't feel as premium as the regular GS6. Hit us back with feedback when you get it. Enjoy!

I thought this phone was selling well but early indications are that it's doing worse than the S5

The article isn't explicit about the edge variant so maybe those aren't included?

Never let sales figures prevent you from buying anything that meets your needs way to many people just fall for marketing and hurd buy.

Aside from the card slot, waterproof and larger battery, how? Sure battery life will better being larger. Same tired, plastic design, are you really going to be in aquatic environment needing water proofing. Analog recent app and back buttons versus capacitive. Don't miss the card slot or swappable battery. That just my take. If you like it, get whatever works best for you and that you like.

he said the smaller, non removable battery is the issue, so assuming he's on at&t that would be a better solution for him.

a lot of people, myself included, don't care about aesthetics as much as a removable, larger battery ... especially if they're gonna slap a case on it anyway.
