Yea there was a method with gingerbread called gingerbreak that used a terminal emulator between boots that ran an ad she'll commands but it bricked a few was quickly patched or simply didn't work but what you need to do in the case of the HTC one is set up an HTC del account with a valid email run the unlock commands in hboot (the o's will not run in h boot mode) so you must have a computer preferably a windows machine you must have adb and fast boot installed to run the commands you know what? Pm me I might be able to whip something up to help you but you will have to learn some things I'm not gonna spoil you and do it all for you because when it breaks you will blame me and not know a dang thing
