I got this bionic on release day. Nice phone, but seems that that critical update might be a christmas thing from motorola, pretty bad.

Does the razor in fact have the same issue? looses data connectivity completely??

I use the phone for texting, web , some gaming, email..etc. would it last all day?

Im just tired of waiting for an update that should have been released already..

I'll just say this: I have a Bionic as well and in the area I am in it would lose Data at least 10-12 times daily. I got fed up waiting for the update because I need the data to be reliable so I went out and purchased the Razr. I've had the Razr for about a week now and I have yet to lose data connectivity. There are times where it will drop for a minute or less when it is switching between 3G and 4G (4G isn't that strong where I am) BUT I never lose it like I did with the Bionic and I have NEVER had to either reboot my phone or toggle Airplane mode on and off to get data back on the Razr.

The only problem I've had with my Razr is I had bad reboot problems but then I figured out what was causing them, the bluetooth in my car. Since turning off bluetooth in my car I've never had the problem again. Unfortunately the Bluetooth technology is driven by software and since cell phones are upgraded so frequently, the bluetooth in cars become outdated.

If you have an extended battery pack in your Bionic then you'll miss the battery life if you move to the Razr. If you have been using the original battery that came with the Bionic then you'll be pleased with the Razr.
