To use a screen protector or not to use a screen protector

I don't use one. I just hate the feeling of the screen protector. It completely ruins the experience of using the phone for me, so its worth the "risk" of not having it. I'm pretty safe with my phones.

So true

The one i had on my Fascinate was rubbery feeling. I didn't mind the feel all that much but i like the feel of just the screen alot better. I never had one on my G1 and i had it from the day it came out till i switched to Verizon and got the Fascinate. and i only had 1 major scratch on it with a few little ones here and there. I don't plan on resaleing it so that is not a factor. Mainly was wondering how easily the GN's screen will scratch, as to whether i will get one or not. And i thank everyone for their feedback :)

many a time I've scratched my screen protector thinking I scratched the actual screen only to peel it off and it's still like new. I'd say that makes it worth it. If you don't like the "grease" wear more fleece jackets or carry a silk cloth around in your pocket :p

I've always used Skinomi wet application protectors. They feel like the bare glass, can't even tell it is on, barely see any orange peel, and barely pick up fingerprints. I fully recommend them.

I care about resale value so I have to use them. Gotta fund the next $300 purchase somehow.

I left the Verizon store with an Otter Box, which is a rubber cover and screen protector. I like the feel of a rubber cover, but I like the look of the plain phone. The cover makes it very difficult to see the screen outdoors. I may go back and forth.
