Too long software update LG G6

[Android Central Question]

My Lg G6 sowtware update began at 11p.m. Now it's 11 a.m. the next day and still phone is with the logo on the screen. Is this normal? What can I do? Is there a way to reset the process or stop it? If so, will that bug my phone in general - I've heard it's not recommended to stop update of software... Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! That's clearly abnormal. Was this system update pushed over-the-air by LG or your carrier, or did you try to manually install it by downloading an update file from some website?
