Too many soft reboots

I just bought a new Maxx HD last Saturday and I have had to soft reboot each time I have charged the phone. Any suggestions for proper charging, should the phone be turned off or left on? I love the phone but I don't think I should have to do this to get it started in the morning. Thanks for any help.

Might want to consider a factory reset and if that doesn't work, get a new one.

Why do you have to do a soft reboot? What problem is happening to make you do this ?

I have had to soft reboot after charging the phone. However, it happens when I have the phone powered off and charge overnight. Thanks for any help!

Keep the phone on when charging then. I always leave mine on.

Okay, so I finally had to charge my Maxx HD again. It was down to 8%, I left the phone on when I plugged in the charger last night and the this morning it had shut down and I needed to soft reboot to get it running again. Do I have a bad unit?

I would call VZW tech support they may send you a warranty replacement.
