Tool bar - lost

I decided to replace my existing Note 10.1 with the 2014 edition and have already done something to make it mad. The tool bar that was on the left (a small half circle) is now gone. Don't know what I did but does anyone know how to get it back?

I think you are talking about the Multi-view. Drag down the touchwiz settings bar on the top of the screen and tap on multiview. if it's already lit up, tap it off then back on again. that will get it back

Or push and hold back button for 2-3 seconds. You can also drag it up or down, or move to left or right on the screen.

Yup, that's the MultiTasking bar. You have to have MultiWindow active and you can toggle the toolbar by pressing and holding the back button until it appears or disappears. Please note that hiding the tool bar DOES NOT 'kill' multi-window; if you already have two windows open and choose to hide the tool bar, the two windows will remain open and you can still work in multiwindow mode.
