Top status bar faded out

Can anyone help me to know why my top status bar is faded out on my home screen ? It appears normally in app screens.

I'm using Nova Launcher btw and pixel icon pack.

What's your wallpaper? Some wallpapers can do this.

Good question. I use the app Black Wallpaper. I've used it for a while and it has never done this.

I may have just figured it out. In Nova settings, under Look and Feel, and under Notification Bar, I had the Dark Icons setting toggled On. I just turned it off, and now the status bar is back to normal. I am 99% sure the Dark Icons was toggled On previously as well. The change happened when I did a restart. At least I've got it back to normal now. Thanks.
