Total Newb Question: Switching contacts from BB to Incredible?

I did a couple searches and really have no clue where im going with this. Android is a whole new thing to me coming from BB and my latest 9650. How do I get all my contacts on to my Incredible? I set up my email since its gmail anyway. Thanks

I dont know if anybody has answered you already, but the easiest ways to do it are syncing your old contacts to gMail and they'll automatically upload to your Incredible or syncing your old contacts to Backup Assistant and then uploading them to the Inc, but both require you to have done that prior to activating your dInc. However, now your options are to either sync your old contacts via USB cable to your computer (Address Book on Mac, I'm not sure what the equivalent is on PC) and then plugging your dInc into the computer and syncing them onto your phone. If this is too much of a pain in the butt, just go to the store, explain the situation, and they will transfer your contacts for you in about fifteen minutes. If they try to charge you, tell them youre a loyal VZW customer and when you bought the phone they didnt have the cable to sync the contacts so they told you to come back at a later date and they would do it for you. Then you'll get it for free, because it happens all the time ) Hope i helped!!

Just did this yesterday. Here's what I did.

Connected BB via USB
Fired up BB device manager
Sync contacts from BB -> Outlook
Disconnect BB

Connected Incredible via USB
Installed/configured HTC Sync
Synced contacts from Outlook -> Incredible
Disconnect Incredible

So..there's no option to sync contacts automatically with Android? If I add a contact with my current phone to the phone it syncs to Google and vice versa...if I add a contact to Google it'll auto sync to my phone.

Hopefully this isn't the case because sometimes I have to use Google calendar at other machines and have it sync to my phone and other devices instead of doing 3 or 4 inputs.
