Touch Key not lighting up

Hi

I have a very new Galaxy A5 and when I got it, the touch keys lid up. I managed to change the key light duration via the settings.

But after a while no matter what duration I set, including 'Always on', they did not light up. Is this a hardware fault or is there a way to make them light up again?

Thankfully they are still operating and reacting to touch. Can anyone help?

Similar problem here. On my S4 (SCH-I545) I have my Touch Light Duration set to "Always On", but every now and then, maybe once a week, they go off and cannot be revived through the Display settings. They still function when touched but don't light up. However, they have always returned after a restart. Go Figure.
 
In A5 andE5 when power saving is enabled the key light is off so disable power saving and you will get your key lights back
