Touch screen behavior while charging

When the phone is charging, the touch screen behavior is odd. Sometimes it is difficult to unlock the screen. Not sure if this occurs in all phones. Scrolling goes crazy.

My Nitro does this while plugged into the usb charge port on my nightstand powerstrip. I think it's a grounding issue there, because it's the only place it does it. Mine doesn't act funny anywhere else.

My HD7 used to do that. It was borderline unusable if it was plugged into USB power.

wait, so your saying and emphasizing, that yours USED to do that. how did you fix the problem? thanks for any help. mine goes completaly crazy. Galaxy S3
