touch screen issue after updating 8.1

First android cell phone from iphone and overall like my pixel 2 xl but one thing touch screen. it's still little lacking and muddy compared iPhone.. especially on instargram to swap right on multiple photos post it stop working many times.
so frustrating. seems like on instargram only but overall touch sensitivity is not really good as the price of this phone..
anyone have same issue?

I'm having the same issues on Instagram myself the keyboard keeps crashing just seems slow and buggy.

Sounds like more an an app issue ... Developers can be slow sometimes.

I have no issues with touch sensitivity with my Pixel 2 XL.
But then I don't use Instagram.
