touch screen problem

any idea about touch screen problem?
want to unlock the pattern but the pattern stops after slide for 1 or 2 dots

Never heard of this before. I believe the phone will ask you for your Google login if you mess up the pattern unlock too many times. Does the screen behave after that? Are there dead areas on the screen?

I think is screen defect problem. There is a row (pixel) which cannot sense my touch. I try it on word search apps game. For the screen lock pattern, i think the slide stops because of this problem.

Yep, sounds like a defect. If you're still within your initial 15 day purchase period, contact Google for an RMA and a replacement. Otherwise you'll have to go through the warranty process. Check the documentation that came with the phone.

Okay, I am new to this stuff, but have the Nexus 4. Love my phone and haven't had any issues. Lastnight while sitting in my car waiting on my husband to come get me because my radiator blew, my screen shattered. It was sitting on my arm rest. I had just been on the phone and sat it down. I called Assurion and the lady basically said I was crazy and laughed. I have never had this happen to me before. I have sent an email to LG Support and there are no local stores here that replace screens on this phone.
