Is there one that protects the screen but minimizes fingerprints? That's the one thing I don't like about the touchscreen Eris phone is all the smudges and prints that obscure the great graphics. I bought my current screen protectors from Verizon when I bought the phone, but they don't seem to work very well. Even in cleaning of the protector, it just smears more.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

You can purchase a zagg shield at best buy they work good just a little pricy.

I would prefer if they offered just the fully front of the body cover at a lower price so I can just use case on the back.

I just looked at Amazon.com for Eris screen protectors and cases, and what I am seeing is most of the products will be delivered in the time frame of 1-3 months. That is wrong!

I got the screen protector from phantom skinz. It works really well and leaves no fingerprints. Well that I can tell at least.

Denatured alcohol works perfect for cleaning the original screen and the screen protector. Just a very small amount on a piece of cotton tshirt. followed by a clean and dry one..:D

using phone armor

I Had the transparent armor put on my phone at the mall. It's complete phone coverage. Even a piece that protects the camera lens with no distortion to the pic. Then I purchased a really dope metallic blue colored slide over hard cover. This phone is awesome and is now well protected.

I had searched these forums for a similar question a week or two ago and someone mentioned Boxwave (BoxWave Accessories - iPhone, Blackberry, Treo, HTC Cases, Batteries, Chargers & More). I had already purchased some from Amzer, they were OK but I just put on the one I bought from Boxwave. If you can call a screen protector sweet, this one went on really nice and sealed all the way to the ends. Again a little pricey for a piece of plastic (plus I bought a 3 pack), but if the durability is as good as others have said then this was a good purchase. IMHO

Coldmack, have you tried that protector before. I'm just concerned with the mirror finish looking bad when the device is running. If you have any pic of the phone with this on please share.

DO NOT buy the mirror screen protector i got one for my Storm and it completely distorted the color amazon.com has really cheap ones that cost like 3 dollars or less with free shipping.

Zagg is 50% off today only 12-14-09

i've personally put this stuff on my PDA's and it lasted me 3 years on my Sony Clie. 2.5 years (so far on my iRiver Clix 2) and neither have scratches on them, so far. This stuff is pretty solid. They have a warranty on their screen protectors too.. not sure if all others do? But if your thing scratchs or your phone is replaced, they will replace the protection free of charge (but you do have to pay for shipping). I had to repalce my clix last year under its warranty and I called to see if Zagg would place the protection... and to my surprise they did.

one happy customer.
