AC Question
I have a Virgin Mobile Supreme which is a ZTE. Touchpal is tightly integrated with the system. You can't disable it, or uninstall it. It is always listed under Running Apps and can't be stopped. It has a service with it called Battery Boost service. The service cannot be stopped. A lock screen has started appearing on top of my regular lock screen with something called Boost Charge (Note: not Clean Master, that is not installed). You can't get rid of it. It is most reproducible connecting to a PC. The second lock screen comes right up. Users in this forum have identified it as coming from Touchpal. This is malware integrated with the system.
How do I get rid of Touchpal permanently? Please note that at one point I had the phone rooted with Kingoroot and KingoSuperUser was installed but somewhere along the line all sorts of changes to the phone which I did not ask for started popping up. Changes to wallpaper,, apps, everything about the UI. are, so I uninstalled it. I would need a new, safe way to root.
