I'm not sure if I have a hardware or software issue but in certain areas if I touch the screen it's not responsive. For the most part the screen works fine however in one place particular, top right when the phone is in portrait mode. For example,
If I'm in the market app and I touch the search icon in the top right while the phone is upright (portrait), it doesn't respond, but if I turn the phone sideways (landscape) and touch the same search icon now, it works fine. Obviously the icon is in a different spot. Same goes for the Latitude app. If the phone is in portrait mode i can't click on the top right icon that updates my location ("bullseye" icon). Again, if I turn the phone sideways and touch the icon it works. Again, it's in a different spot but it works.
I already tried reformatting the phone completely (hboot>recovery) but that doesn't resolve it. I'm stock with 2.2.
Is there anything else I can try or do I have a legitimate hardware issue and need to call Verizon?
