touchscreen not responding intermmitently

I've had the S9+ for over a month now. In the past week the touchscreen response has been acting wacky. When I press on the screen anywhere nothing happens. About a few seconds later it work (or I would reboot and it works). It started like once a day but now it's happening more and more. Anyone experience this?

BTW I do have a screen protector and the response works fine when it's not acting wacky.

Probably caused by the screen protector. Remove the screen protector and test.

Do you have high sensitivity turned on?

settings>display>touch sensitivity. works pretty well with a screen protector.
