Touchscreen occasionally unresponsive

Has anyone else been experiencing momentary craziness with their touchscreen? On mine, the keyboard will occasionally not work, or a game will become unresponsive. Sometimes, it comes back. Sometimes I have to lock then unlock the screen.

I also have the"oil slick"phenomenon cc which I believe is being caused by pressure from the glass. Could that be related?

I've noticed the nonresponsiveness with the keyboard on a few occasions.
