Touchscreen very unresponsive when wireless charging.

Man I have the same issue with my S10+ while placed on a Xiaomi car wireless charger. When I want to move the google map around, the touchscreen is unresponsive and glitchy. When I pick it up everything returns to normal.

Welcome to Android Central! Is it a magnetic charger? If so, it might be due to the electromagnetic field being generated, interfering with the capacitative screen.

Thank you! This is the charger: https://www.mi.com/global/mi-20w-wireless-car-charger
I think all wireless chargers are magnetic, right? I wonder if it will mess up my touchscreen in the long run.

All wireless chargers work using weak magnetic coils, yes -- but I'm talking about the kind that use strong magnets to act as a car mount as well. However, from what I can tell looking at that link, that charger doesn't use a strong magnet. It's still possible, however, that the coils they use still strong enough to interfere.

BTW, what an annoying product site -- they don't let you pause or mute the autoplayed little video! I had to use the Chrome playback notification on my Chromebook to pause it.:-\

I tested yesterday on another two different wireless chargers and the touchscreen behaves the same, I have to press harder on the screen for it to register. I also turned off "Fast wireless charging" from the settings to see if it makes any difference. I guess I'll have to live with this.
