I started experimenting with Touchwiz today. And for some reason, it speaks when I open/close a folder, change some settings, and some other stuff.

Talkback is off.

I can't seem to find the setting here. Anyone know how to turn off Touchwiz speaking?

Thanks all

Babe you tried meshing with the settings in "sound"?

I figured it out.

Apparently there is a jellybean bug with Touchwiz. If there is another program running in accessibility then it'll activate Talkback even when it's not enabled.

Thanks all.

Yeah this is a known bug which Samsung have acknowledged and confirmed fixed in the next version. Hoping it comes out soon because it prevents using apps like LightFlow.

If you you want to use Lightflow and you want speech off and you have root access, turn off/freeze Google Text to Speech.

Ridin' a Note 2 blast

NoLED has a workaround posted in the developer's site... It won't work for everyone, but it's worth a try
