Heard great things about tpu and naztech vertex, the vertex looks cooler but if more expensive. What would you guys recommend? And did the tpu come in solid colors or just argyle?

My girlfriend has the red TPU case and I have the green Naztech Vertex. Both are great cases, but I prefer the Naztech.

The TPU is not quite a soft case and not quite a hard case. It is just flexible enough to put the phone it. The only issue my girlfriend had with the case is that the camera, volume, and lock buttons are covered and can be difficult to press. She ended up cutting out small sections for the buttons and it has helped.

I like the mixture of the hard and soft cases for the Naztech. At first, It can be a little difficult to correctly line up all of the parts of the soft case. After taking off and putting on the case a few times, I have figured out a good technique to get the case on. My only complaint is that the soft portion can stick a little to the inside of my pocket when trying to take it out.

I think either case would be a great choice.

That's a big annoyance for me if the case sticks coming in or going out of my pocket. Doesn't the hard case on top of silicone help this? What about the tpu case it stick going in/out of pocket?

I don't have experience with the tpu case, but I really like the vertex. The part that sticks a little to the pocket going in and out is the rubber part on the front around the screen. The back of the case is covered by the plastic and doesn't stick. It doesn't stick very much, but it does a little.

That's not bad then...does the part by the screen affect you using the screen near the sides? Think i'm leaning towards the vertex

I agree with mhas311, the cover barely sticks. The part by the screen doesn't effect the use too much. It is soft, so it is easy to push out of the way with you finger if you need to get all the way to the edge.

ok i think i have narrowed it down to vertex or seidio active (same concept silicone/hard) because i like the look of it and it comes in white :D any suggestions on which is better for everyday use of the phone and product quality?

So it does block use of the edge of the screen?

No. It does not block the use of the edge of the screen. It is maybe 1-2 millimeters from the edge of the screen. If you want to touch something at the very edge of the screen, you might have to push the soft cover to a side a bit.

Thanks guys now it's just time to decide between vertex or seidio active white

The vertex's lip around the screen doesn't affect my ability to use any part of the screen at all. I actually like it because if I want to set it face down (to hear the speaker better for example) I can and the screen stays elevated off the surface.
