Trackball blinking notification time

I checked the trackball notification for my droid eris and it seems to only blink for about 1-2 minutes warning me of an call or message. Is that supposed to happen? I was expecting it to blink until I turned it off.

I had the same issue. I couldn't find any place to make the trackball blink stay on.

yah there is nothing for this the only choice you get is do you want it on or off i wish they would add a feature to leave it on or flash faster
