Hello Everyone in Android Central:

I am VERY new to the operating system Android...

I want to know which app or Where do I go to copy and share files from my computer to my android tablet so that I can take my college work with me....

Maybe you could talk to me as if I'm a 5 year old (I thought I was quite the expert on my computer), anyway, again could you help me to copy the VIDEO STREAM from my computer to the Android.

Do I need an APP on my tablet or do the files show up in E S FileExpert or ES Task Manager.

I did get the message on my computer about the android finding it's driver's, but I don't compute as to how I can get the Video copied to my android tablet.

I also use the android LG phone....please post any help or suggestions that you Great Thinkers and Higher Ups. Thanks really!

Hello and welcome, Tracy!

For file sharing between your desktop/laptop and your tablet, you have two main options:

1. Use a cloud-based solution, such as Dropbox or Wuala. These are third party services that allow you to store content on their site, then access it from any device you might please, whether it's your phone, PC or tablet. You will need the client app installed on any device you want to be in the loop.

2. Get out the USB connector cable, installl any drivers you might need. If you are on Linux or Mac, you should just be able to connect, mount and go. If you are using Windows, you may want to try a search in the respective forum for your tablet here in Android Central, as you will need special drivers to get it working.

Just curious, which tablet and LG Android phone do you use?
