So I need more questions answered about the T-Mobile deal. You get free headphones, a tablet (if you add a tablet line on your post paid account), and also $200 credit for any working 4G smartphone trade in?? I get that it's an e-mail print out check delivery, takes up to 8 weeks. Does it have to be a T-Mobile branded phone? Anyone here works at T-Mobile can explain how this process works? Do you go in the store and give them the phone? I have a Moto E that I bought for $30 bucks and was thinking of trading it in for that free credit.

Also, seems like pre paid T-Mobile customers can't order online? There no option to buy out right full price.

You can if you don't have any financing available due to note 7 fiasco. Bunch of Bs behind the story but I tried pre-ordering online and it said I could pre-order but due to lack of financing I would have to buy it fully at $769. Got it pre-ordered though! Got it worked out in store! Though for pre-payed idk if it's possible right now. So true..

Most of their representatives are from the Philippines and they only deal with account issues... But I'll try asking them. With calls however, If you're a prepaid customer, they'll direct your call to the Philippines

I'm curious on this also. I have an old sprint nexus s 4g and galaxy s2 and an old tmobile htc g2 that I think was 4g if I remember and would be great if I can trade any of those in as they are 4g. It says any working 4g phone, but do they mean 4g lte? I know Sprint is offering the same deal but has to have a trade in value of at least $10 and any flagship phone older than a s4 or G2 or G3 is under that $10

I placed my order online early yesterday morning and when I went to the trade in page and put the info for my V10 that's in mint condition, their system said $0.00. It didn't issue a $200 value. I will just sell it on swappa. Will probably get more for it.

I believe the $200 trade in offer varies by carrier. Some say 200 for any working phone while others like AT&T do not. I followed the trail of links for AT&T and I believe they give a minimum of $5 and up to 200, depending on the phone.

They aren't going for much more than 200 on Swappa unless they are mint shape

Saw a video on YouTube that if the phone had no value (like my s4 with AT&T) you file it through LG and they Will mail you an echeck within 2 months.

Not sure the exact details... The but as with a different carrier

T mobile rep here, my understating is that your trade in amount is subtracted from that 200 and the difference is emailed to you via online check. It can be any working 4g smartphone in good condition (no cracked screens, or water damage and must fully boot up). Now, you won't be able to use your jump and trade a phone in for the credit.

T mobile rep here, my understating is that your trade in amount is subtracted from that 200 and the difference is emailed to you via online check. It can be any working 4g smartphone in good condition (no cracked screens, or water damage and must fully boot up). Now, you won't be able to use your jump and trade a phone in for the credit.

I have an old LTE phone that is rooted with custom kernel, will they still take it?

Sorry that is wrong. My daughters G2 was worth $15.00 and AT&T gave her the full $200.00. Hope this helps anyone on AT&T.
