Anyone else send in their trade ins yet? Figured I'd start a new thread for tracking the status/approval.

I sent out both my S21 ultra and my S7+ Tablet this morning.

Sent mine in yesterday. Put bubble wrap around the phone, put it in a box with more padding. Took it to the FedEx drop-off location. Took a picture of everything. Currently following the tracking back to FedEx on my FedEx app. Scheduled to be to them on Monday.

I did make sure to sign out of all of my accounts and factory reset the phone.

Awesome! I also took pictures, put them in their boxes and then in the padding that came with the phone (seemed maybe more environmentally friendly)?

Hopefully a quick turnaround.

I'm dropping off my trade-in with FedEx today. Got the S22 Ultra yesterday, so reset the S21 Ultra, took videos/pictures of resetting the phone, picture of phone along IMEI/model number and then video of packaging inside the box. Hopefully quick turnaround and gets the trade-in completed by the end of next week. The last couple of releases they have been pretty quick in completing the trade-ins.

Once I factory reset, I just walk thru the setup again myself without entering any account and skipping all setup prompts to make sure it doesn't ask for my password or activation lock etc. After that I factory reset again to put it back into the welcome screen of setup.

I bet our old phones get to them quicker than our new phones got to us!
Haha actually they just FedEx ground for trade-in so it takes close to a week to go from Pacific Northwest to Texas in my case. I wish they actually used FedEx 2 day like they ship to us, so that the trade-in completes faster

But I get why they use FedEx ground, save money and it's not a big deal if the trade-in process takes a little longer.

Did that too. Dropped off at a fedex ship center. Took video of myself hitting reset as well.

You have 15 days to have it postmarked to send the trade in back. I would recommend using the new phone for a week before sending the trade in to them. Make sure you want to keep the new phone.

My thoughts exactly. I'vegot until 3/7 to put it through its paces. If it doesn't blow me away, it's just another pretty face and I'll keep my N20U.

I got my trade-in email today and haven't even received the phone!

Same. I got the email 2 days before the phone. I still have plenty enough time to test the phone, but it's the principle! Had the nerve to say we hope you're enjoying your new device. WHAT device? Rant over :-)

Took pictures of everything, packaged the phone very well and will drop off at FedEx on Friday while I'm out working.

Just dropped off at FedEx. Yes I have 2 weeks time but no way in hell I'm going to use a last year phone even if the S22 Ultra sucked

Joking aside yes good to wait sometime before you send your old phone, if you aren't sure you want the new one.

I sent out my S21 Ultra yesterday and I used the box and packaging that my S22 Ultra came in. It's scheduled to arrive in Texas on Friday.

I haven't received any trade in instructions. Am I supposed to send in same box the s22 ultra shipped in. Or wait for an email from Samsung with trade in details? Thanks

Trade in label and instructions should be available for you in your order details at Samsung.com if your phone is already delivered. They will email day or before delivery but sometimes that email may come late. You can send in any box, but anyway you are getting your S22 in a box so makes sense to use the same.
