Trade in value for a Z Flip 4 is dropping

The trade in value for a Galaxy Z Flip 4 is down to $600 when buying a Flip 5 at the Samsung site. It was $800 when I bought my Flip 5 July 26th.

Not surprising, the ridiculous amount they offered in the US was completely unsustainable. They must have been losing money on every sale when it was $900.

Whoops, I received $900 credit on the Samsung site but $800 at Best Buy for my wife's Flip 4.

Yes that's normal they do that every release.. they don't keep the higher trade-in values after pre-order dates...

Yup! I think that they do this to get them on the street so that others, who haven't used them before, will see them and build up more interest. At least, that was my take last year!
