Traded in my EVO 3D

Went back to the iPhone today after a year with the EVO 3D. I had the iphone 1 and 3Gs when I was with AT&T before I came to Sprint

I thought the 3D was a cool phone but started having issues with it in the past few months.Had to constantly do hard resets .The phone itself was great minus the cam loved the screen size.

The 3D camera was cool but difficult to show off to folks if they didn't hold it the right way. I also had the green tint on white objects on my pics that was a drag also.

It was a great run though.

Not to be a dick or anything, but to be blunt. no one cares that you are leaving. I hate these goodbye posts. I left my Pre and Precentral(webosnation) and just....well, left. The issues you mentioned above are inherent in most smartphones and aren't that serious. You went back to the iphone because that's what you want to use, not because the Evo was giving you problems, let's keep it real.

Agreed with Vick. I'm not saying this was your intention but most people who make topics like this are usually just trolling because they want everyone to know they had the phone so many others love and decided to get a different phone that they think is better.

It's just pointless.

This is a public forum and he is free to post what he pleases as long as he does insult other members, if you're insulted by him buying a I phone then you got issues.

Apparently you read a different post than everyone else cause i don't see him saying that he was offended about the OP buying an iPhone.

Didn't want to upset the Android or EVO community with my post.

Listen, I like all gadgets. Android,iOS, no love for Blackberry though. All devices have their issues of course but it seems my EVO was just rapidly going down as the months went on.

This is not the first or the last kind of issue for the EVO or any device. My post wasn't to wave a flag for the iPhone or burn the EVO. Seems like HTC just abandoned it after a year. If I have a issue with anyone it's HTC. Apple really screwed up with the iPhone 4 with antenna gate I wasn't going to near that device.

Based on checking out the phones that my friends have, Samsung may have been a better choice for me for a phone on the Android side.

So my original post and this post may be pointless but I'm just expressing my opinion on a public forum like some have pointed out.

I agree with you. I came fro BB to iPhone and then to Android. I picked up my EVO 3d last August. I got it because I did not want to wait for the galaxy s2 to be available in my area. I have been fairly happy with it except for the constant restarts. This is my third handset under warranty due to these problems. Now I am ready to move up to a One x or an S 3. I have to do so some more research because i don't want to have to upgrade again anytime soon.
