Traded up Iphone 4 for the Evo "the way it should be"

I have been working with a guy at work who really loved his iphone 3g, hes big jail breaker and all that stuff. on the 6th of july he received his new iphone 4, however during this time he kept looking over at my evo and was asking questions about it. he kept saying that he couldnt wait to jail break this iphone 4 so he could do this and that, I kept just saying my evo has these features now (I mean there is a ton of basic stuff our evo's do that the iphone doesnt do untill its jail broke, also at&t charges for everything little thing). I am lucky enough to live in a solid 4g area so I kept showing off the speed and other features really putting the iphone in its place. everything from sprint tv to google and sprint nav all included in our plan, not to mention I can install pretty much anything I want. Even with the extra $10he could even compete with the service price. Well yesterday he comes to me and says hes tired of AT&T junk customer and cell service and can I help him get an EVO, I made a few calls and next thing he got his Evo same Day. He hasnt put it down since he got it. Iphone 4 up for sale and several people are emailing him so he has no problem getting rid of it. Funny Part is I even got a pic of the evo and iphone on the sprint computer transfuring his contacts. If I had a way of posting the pic i would, and title it "the way it should be". thanks for reading my funny little story, had to share it.

That is a good story. I think that a lot of people are really impressed with the EVO. It is the best smartphone released so far this year.

Even with Sprints $10 "premium device" add-on they are still cheaper then AT&T. While Sprint truly uncaps the data network, AT&T starts limiting it. Most people I know with an iPhone 4 think my Evo ROCKS.

Just their phone book translator. They've always transferred my contacts and stuff when I change phones. They transferred stuff from my old WinMo to my EVO on launch day. Took about 3-4 minutes.

To be specific, it's a CellBrite. Has adapters for almost any phone. Plug your old one on the left, the new one on the right. make the menu selections, and voila! Your contacts, pictures, etc are copied over (whatever you choose). Makes live easier. Our Sprint rep let us borrow theirs when we migrated our corporate account from Unicel to Sprint.

I hang out from time to time in a social forum, and my user name is " iPhone4Sucks "
So lot of people were asking why does it suck so i was explaining to them that with evo i can download music and run it from my evo without any istore and the functions that apple came out with now Android has already and was telling them this and that, and told them I have the EVO, and they ask what is that, so i would explain and give them links to see, and one of them came back few days later and told me he checked it out and got the EVO and he loves it, and another said to me, like from that youtube evo commercial I dont care i still getting the iPhone 4, what I realized is that the only reason people are getting iphone not cause they need it or know how to use it, they just want it cause it is popular, they just want to be in style thats it, Apple can come out with a silver brick call it iBrick and people would go crazy. Over blown hype that what is the iphone is. Android needs to get some commercials out about the OS and all the companies that use it on there phones. Android needs to be loud and proud!!!!!!!
