Transactions approved but not taken from checking account

So I used Samsung Pay to buy a few things like I normally do. Everything was fine, receipts printed, transactions approved but the money hasn't been taken out of my checking account. The Samsung Pay app shows the transactions as being approved but my bank account hasn't reflected the deductions yet. Anyone had a similar issue? If so, when did your bank balance update?

I have it the other way - money was credit to my account over a week ago and it,s probably going to take another week, at least, before it shows.

You have 3 things that can delay a transaction here - the merchant, Samsung and the bank. If each of them de4lays it a couple of days, that's a week.

(And if it's never taken out of your account, don't complain. You paid, the merchant accepted your payment [if they hadn't been credited, you'd have heard] so if Samsung ate the loss, that's their problem.)
