I picked up the subject card for my Razr Maxx, and it is working fine in the phone. I copied my music from the 16GB SD card I had in my DINC to my ASUS win7 machine. The music is fine on the hard drive and they all play. When copying them to the new card, whether the card is in the phone and connected as USB Mass Storage, or in the adapter and plugged into the card slot on the computer, I get errors.

It either just hangs copying, or pops up a window telling me there are issues with the card and offers the option of continuing or scanning and trying to correct errors. If I tell it to scan and check for bad sectors, it never finds any.

I had no problems copying pictures and documents to the card in the same manner.

Any one else run into problems copying music to one of these class 10 cards?

why do you need a class 10 card? I use class 4 cards and have no problems. My GoPro uses class 4 with no problems also. I use class 6 in DSLR 15mp camera and have no issue. I don't believe our phone can even utilize the speeds capable for a class 10 card.

Class 10 is purported to be better for full HD video which the Maxx is capable of. Also for the minimal extra cost trying to stay on the bleeding edge. Just wondering if any one else has had problems with them in a computer. Works fine in the phone.

I usually use motocast to add music. You may have a format problem between the systems, but I dont see why that would be. Motocast is simple so I would try that

I hope you didn't buy the card on ebay. You end up with a 2G chip. Buy cards from a reputable store that takes returns. And, yes, sadly I am an expert on this.

I got them at Newegg' one for my phone and one for my girlfriends. Thanks for the Motocast suggestion after setting that up I was able to copy all of the music via USB. It all transferred @ 10 MB too.

Just as a follow up, when I first got my Nook and was trying to set up a microSD card for a real OS boot, I had all sorts of problems trying to use 32GB microSD cards in my ASUS laptop. I finally went out and bought an external memory adapter and the problems went away. YMMV
