Transfer contacts from sync accounts to local phone

As the title says, is there any easy way to do this?

Also, does anyone have any issues with contacts being entered into the phone multiple times when using a Microsoft Exchange account? The thing that kills me is that when I delete the duplicates from the phone it removes the main contact from the server.
