Google and an SD card. At least it was for me... Gmail, Gmail Contacts and Calendar... sign into my Gmail account and everything is there in minutes. Anything else I need specifically can either be loaded onto an SD card, or I could have used Dropbox. All depends on what you have and need backed up.

Thanks. I saw a Samsung commercial and they said something about one app that would transfer everything. Anyone know what app they were talking about?

I think you can download the app on your pc from Samsung.com

Helium backup. It works great for non rooted phones (and rooted phones too, I understand, but I don't have any experience with rooting.) I used it after the last software update when I had to do a factory reset and it backed up and restored just great. check it out on the play store site and see if you think it fits your situation.
