transfercontact list to the galaxy andriod

I just purchased a tracfone Galaxy, stardust, andriod phone and learning how to use it. Can my contact list be transferred from an regular lg tracfone to the galaxy andriod?
I'm an older person and this is the first phone I have had like this, therefore, please make it simple.

Welcome to Android Central! What model is the TracFone LG that you have? Do you know if your contacts on that phone are saved to your Google account or the local Phone account? You can tell if they're in your Google account because you'll also see them on your computer browser on the contacts.google.com website.

If they're on your Google account, then that's easy--when you log into the new phone with your Google account, the contacts will sync automatically to the phone.

If they're on the local Phone account, then you could try Samsung Smart Switch.
