Transferring contacts to auto

My phone connects to my car via Bluetooth, but can't get contacts or history to download to car. Worked fine with my note 8, Any suggestions.

If the car manufacturer doesn't have an update to the car audio, no. Bluetooth specs improve all the time, and the car audio has to keep up with the improvements.

Check the permissions they may be off with a new device.

I agree with o4liberty -- go to Settings>Bluetooth, tap the gear icon next to the car system, and make sure Contact Sharing is turned on.

I had the same issue in addition to the calls cutting off on bluetooth about a minute in. I returned the phone. I was coming from an iPhone too, trying to break away. My car dealership said that for $100 they could upgrade the software. I’m debating going with another Note 10 and paying the money, but if it doesn’t work, **** Android and Samsung. I’ve tried to switch before with some kind of bug or another.
