Transferring from Metro PCS to Verizon on new line?

I have a friend who would like to be added onto my Verizon account on an added line. She has an LG MS690 with Metro PCS and I am wondering if it is even possible to have everything ported over. Would she need to unlock it? Thank you in advance.

She will need a Verizon phone. They don't play that game, only phones that are in their system will work on their network.
