Hi,

I recently picked up a Touchpad through the fire sale. I've loaded Cyanogen Alpha 3.5 on it and have been learning Android.

I would like to transfer some video, photos, and music to it. I assume I can do it from a computer through the USB but didn't know if there are specific folders I should drop the files in.

You can put your media where you like, both android and webos will pick it up after the scan they both do when they start up.

Great, thank you for the reply. I'm going to start loading videos for the plane ride. One other question, I didn't see search results on, is there a good way to import bookmarks from a PC?

I believe if you use Chrome on your pc then bookmarks can be shared with the standard android browser. Also the newest firefox allows you to import all your bookmarks from the pc version.

Hmm, thanks for the reply. Food for thought.

I use the latest firefox. you can sync bookmarks, history etc through Firefox "Sync Now". PC and device are connected through a pin you enter on your PCs Firefox (the pin you obtained from the firefox on the device when you try to sync).
cheers

edit.oops, I see it's already mentioned in post #4.
