Transferring New Ringtones

I got some new ringtones but they only appear on the list for the ringtones for incoming calls. How can I transfer the files to the list for notifications and for the alarm?

Are they on your SD card or did you place them in the device itself??? In the device they should be in /system/media/audio/notifications folder.

They are actually on my device. I didn't know how to get them on my SD card.
