Transferring photos from iPhone to Galaxy S9

After being on the iPhone bandwagon for several years I have decided to change over to the Galaxy S9. It's been several years since I've used a Galaxy device, but I'm pretty familiar with the OS. Is there anyway to transfer my photos and videos to the device itself? I use Google Photos, but will probably want to export some to the device itself. What's the easiest way to do this? Thanks for any help!

Log in to your Google account, go to Settings in the photos and gallery, and select Sync.
