Transferring To & From SD Card. Damn it!

Ok, I went through a bunch of threads of people having problems transferring their music/pics/videos/etc to the 32G SD Card. I installed everything. HTC Sync, the drivers, Vcast... but the SD Card does not show up. HTC Sync doesn't even see my phone... and yes I selected it to use Sync in the USB Connections whenever I plug the phone in. The only thing that happens when I plug my phone in is a pop up comesup (Windoes 7) asking me if I want to install Verizon's software. I've done that already and it still pops up.

Why is this so difficult? What is the proper way to transfer my data? I ended up going to BBY to buy a USB - Micro SD adapter. I formatted the card and made 3 directories on it (music, videos, pictures) and put all my stuff on it. There has got to be a better way.

Pull down your notifications... does it say "Charge only"... click on it, and change it to "Disk drive," then click the Done button.

Thanks, but it looks like reformatting the memory card did the trick. Now there are other issues like trying to sync my Outlook calendar with it. HTC Sync is saying to set Outlook as the default mail client... which of course it already is.

I have mine set to "Disk Drive", but it isn't finding the memory card, only phone memory. It shows "0 bytes free of 5.81 MB". How do I access the memory card?

Oh, my! I feel like such an idiot! It has the SD card as a separate drive! :-[
